2	Wenn man dir nennt einen Streifen eines <dзjw->Gewandes von 5 (Ellen) 5 Spannen (zu) 2 Spannen, (es) umrechnend als Fläche.	If someone says to you, “A strip of garment-cloth 5 cubits 5 palms by 2 palms, the area of which is to be reckoned,

4	Diese 5 Ellen 2 Spannen (sic!) als Einzelspannen. Es entsteht 35, als diese 5.	this strip of 5 cubits 5 palms [by] 2 palms into palms [where 1 cubit = 7 palms]. The result is 35 [palms in length ] for this 5 cubits
5	Es entsteht 10 als dieser Streifen. Rechne du mit 35, 10, 80 mal.	[while] the result for [the area of the end piece of] this strip is 10 (i.e., 5 x 2). [Then you] multiply 35 times [2, the width], and add [this 70 to the area] 10 [found for the end piece], the [resulting total area of the cloth strip is] 80 [square palms].
